This page explains what data maths-pdf.fr and the Maths PDF mobile app collect, why we need it, who can see it, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted. You can read every lesson, worksheet, test and quiz on the site without giving any personal information.

Who is responsible

Sébastien Reingbach, 12 avenue du général de Gaulle, 75016 Paris, France, is responsible for the processing of your data. Questions and requests go through the contact form.

On the website

  • When you write to us: the name, email address and message you type in the contact form, used only to answer you.
  • When you browse: technical data such as pages visited, device type, browser and approximate location, through cookies or similar tools, to measure traffic and keep the site running.
  • Advertising: Google AdSense and its partners can show ads and use cookies for that purpose. Personalized ads and measurement cookies depend on the choices you make in the consent banner, which you can change at any time.

In the Maths PDF app

  • Sign-in with Google: we receive your email address, your Google account ID, and the name and profile picture shown on your Google account. We never see your password.
  • Usage data: the date of your first and last sign-in, your IP address at sign-in, a random device ID that does not identify you, and the grades you select.
  • Paid access: the payment date and the PayPal order number. Card and bank details stay with PayPal and never reach us.

Why we use it

Your Google account keeps your access when you change phones; sign-in dates and the device ID let us calculate the trial period and prevent abuse; your IP address is kept for security; the grades you choose decide which content you see; payment records prove your access and meet accounting rules. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to build an advertising profile of you.

Children and students

Maths PDF is made for students, parents and teachers. The worksheets and lessons can be used with no account at all. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without a parent or guardian: the app account and the contact form are meant to be used by an adult or with an adult’s permission. If you believe a child sent us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.

Who can access it

Only the Maths PDF team and the providers that make the service work: OVH, our host in France; Google, for sign-in, traffic measurement and advertising within your consent choices; and PayPal, for payments.

How long we keep it

Contact messages: up to 3 years after our last exchange. App accounts: as long as the account is used, then up to 3 years after the last sign-in. Payment records: as long as accounting law requires. Cookies: up to 13 months.

Your rights and deleting your data

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, object to its use or withdraw your consent. Send your request through the contact form, saying which email address it concerns; deleting an app account removes your access and the data linked to it. People in the European Union can also complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

Updates

We update this policy when the site or the app changes. If the English and French versions differ, the French version prevails.
